At least you have internet at your homestay. I didn't when I was in Italy. Plus, I'm sure there are plenty of students in your program who don't either.

That being said, I'd like some new songs, but I understand that it may take you awhile. When you get to it, you get to it. Really, I just want to hear about your experiences! I hope you are having a lot of fun! What is your host family like? How are the people in general? Friendly? Details, girl, DETAILS!!

yea, some of my friends doesn't have internet. I'm really lucky I got wireless (albeit unsecured wireless) at my host family.

anyways, I do kinda wanna blog just about my experiences, but dunno if my regulars would care or not. some have voiced that they'd be interested, but I dunno. think I should make those entries friends only?

and host family is good. I'm kinda quiet (like...too quiet) cause I dunno how to say a lot of things. I know its a confidence issue, but I don't want to go 180 on them. suggestions?

*interjects* Please forgive.^^;

Just spend time with them, even if you can't speak...if you don't hole yourself in your room, they will know that you want to speak/get to know them, even if you can't communicate it yet. My host family was very understanding...I had only one year of Japanese..it took a while, but we finally figured it all out. :D
I might not be regular....but I love reading about Japan adventures~ :3
